The Correspondence Manager processes incoming letters and emails, gathers information and data, and formulates a reply. They process all basic outgoing correspondences and thank you letters and cards. They also coordinate and supervise the volunteers for all mass mailings.

Sorting Volunteer

Data Assistant
The Data Assistant processes all data from Donor Data Forms, Monthly Partnerships, mailings, Major and Minor Events, and Pickup and Delivery Records, and provides reports on all data.

Public Relations Coordinator
The Public Relations Coordinator has three primary responsibilities. 1) They help enhance our visibility in the local community through planning, executing and hosting periodic Open Houses at the South Jersey Dream Center (SJDC). 2) They are responsible for coordinating individual visits with the general public, corresponding with potential visitors, and providing excellent customer service to visitors to the SJDC. And 3) they develop, plan and execute special and seasonal events designed to reach out to and provide resources and services to the people we serve.

They also reach out to local retailers to develop new partnerships and request in-kind donations.

Marketplace Security and Parking Coordinator

The Security and Parking Coordinator develops, coordinates, and oversees a security team that ensures the proper protective measures needed to keep the South Jersey Dream Center (SJDC) campus safe and secure. They also develop, coordinate and oversee the plan and parking lot volunteers that ensure the proper flow of traffic for guest curbside transfer of goods, guest parking, VIP parking, and incoming and outgoing vehicles.

Board Member
The Board will support the work of the South Jersey Dream Center (SJDC) and provide mission-based leadership and strategic governance. While day-to-day operations are led by SJDC’s Executive Director(ED), the Board-ED relationship is a partnership, and the appropriate involvement of the Board is both critical and expected. The Board oversees the SJDC’s assets and makes sure that the SJDC is on sound financial footing. Active oversight includes assisting with strategic and organizational planning, fundraising and resource development, monitoring the SJDC’s programs and services, enhancing the SJDC’s public image, assessing its own performance as the governing body of the SJDC, and maintaining legal and ethical accountability for its staff and volunteers.
