The mission

Poverty is a serious issue but raising funds and awareness about poverty
doesn’t have to be! This fun-filled, competitive event supports the struggling families that we serve at the South Jersey Dream Center. AND it will make an impact in your life knowing that you are touching the lives of others AND “playing for a purpose”. TOGETHER we are breaking the cycle of poverty in South Jersey.

Registration Dates

Open - January 2, 2025
Close - March 15, 2025

Early Bird! $55 registration fee per player for one event, $10 fee for an additional event if you register before February 1, 2025.
February 1, 2025 - $65 registration fee per player for one event, $10 fee for an additional event.
There is a non-refundable, non-tax deductible Pickleball Brackets service fee of $5 for one event or $10 for more than one event that will be applied to every registration.
Registration is not complete until BOTH players are registered
Player's age as of 12/31/25
Minimum Age of Player is 18
Players must “level up” to the highest skill level on the team
Players must “age down” to the youngest player on the team
Older players are permitted to “age down” to a younger age group
Online Waiver must be agreed to at time of registration
Online payment is made at time of registration
Every registrant receives a South Jersey Dream Center free giveaway
Brackets are posted on Tuesday before tournament
No refund for cancellations made after March 15, 2025.
Substitutes are permitted with same skill level and in same age group
150 player capacity, waitlist available
As a 501c3 non-profit organization, all player event fees are tax-deductible

Morning - Mixed Doubles Brackets Begin
(Players will be notified of exact start time for their match)
Mixed Doubles - Up to 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 and above - 18+, 45+, 60+

Afternoon - Men’s and Women’s Doubles Brackets Begin
(Players will be notified of exact start time for their match)
Women’s Doubles -Up to 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 and above - 18+, 45+, 60+
Men’s Doubles -Up to 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 and above - 18+, 45+, 60+

event format and general information

Format
Round Robin, all teams play each other one time in each bracket.

Scoring
Games are played straight to 11 (or 15 depending on the size of the bracket), no overtime. Winners based on total wins. Tiebreakers are determined by head-to-head winner.

DUPR
The results of this tournament count toward your DUPR rating and scores will be automatically reported to DUPR. Players who do not have a current DUPR account will be prompted to create one during the registration process. Players with a DUPR rating must use that rating. The players PickleballBrackets.com tournament rating will be used for anyone who does not have a current DUPR rating. The self rating will be used for anyone who does not have either a DUPR or PickleballBrackets.com tournament rating.

Waiting List
The second partner must sign up within 6 days of the first partner's registration. Incomplete teams will be moved to the waiting list after that or when registration closes. Once the second partner registers, they will be moved back into the event if there are spots left in the tournament and the event and registration is still open.

Court Monitors
There will be two court monitors assigned to every bracket.

Brackets
At the Tournament Directors’ discretion, brackets may be adjusted. Registering for this tournament means you accept that this may happen. This is your notification that you may be merged with younger players. The 60+ brackets will be combined by age first, then skill.

Awards
First, second, third place medals awarded for each skill level, even if combined.

Rules and Sanctioned Designation
To the best of our ability, this tournament adheres to the USA Pickleball Association (USAPA) Rulebook. This is a non-sanctioned event.

Facility Details

Players Courtyard, 605 Glen Ave, Moorestown, NJ 08057
Players Courtyard is a 30,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility dedicated to just pickleball with no columns, great lighting, fully heated / air conditioned, thirteen spacious “outdoor surface” courts with permanent nets and dividers between courts. The facility does not have a restaurant/grille on site. Full details HERE.
